When to see a Children’s Dentist about a Cracked Tooth

Raising kids isn’t for the faint of heart – that is one thing we can all agree upon. Childhood injuries come up when you least expect. Sports, rough playing and just being kids can cause accidents – sometimes they involve a cracked or chipped tooth.

What to do can be confusing. You wonder if it isn’t painful, should you just ignore it? If it is painful, should you give Tylenol and keep an eye on it? Or, should you see a children’s dentist for an examination, advice and possible treatment?

When Should Your Toddler See A Childrens Dentist?

Being a parent is full-time job with many types of responsibilities. Making sure your toddlers have a nutritional diet, a loving home and visits to the pediatrician are usually high on the list of priorities.

Many parents don't realize, or don't know that taking their toddler for dental checkups is high on that list.
